Supported Employment
Continuing Assistance for Ohioans with the Most Significant Disabilities:
For some disabled Ohioans, finding and keeping a job is possible only with ongoing support from RSC. When this continuous assistance is provided, these Ohioans with most significant disabilities have the opportunity for meaningful work and independence.
Individualized Support:
RSC’s Supported Employment Program is unique to each individual with disabilities but each person’s program is designed to overcome the barriers to competitive job placement. This can result in specialized job training, personal job adjustment, personalized job development, job site adaptation, personal care assistance and professional job coaching.
Benefit to Employers:
Because of the Supported Employment Program, Ohio employers have access to a deeper pool of local talent who are able to meet the same standards of productivity expected of all employees. Supported Employment workers are the ultimate win-win agreement between RSC and participating businesses.
