VRP3

The Vocational Rehabilitation Public & Private Partnerships (VRP3) Program, formerly Pathways, allows RSC to form partnerships and establish cooperative agreements that will generate new, high-quality vocational rehabilitation (VR) programs, expand services to people with significant disabilities and maximize federal match funding for Ohio. Through VRP3, local government entities can partner with RSC to provide VR services in their areas.

Every dollar the agency receives in state or local funding generates $3.69 in federal money for VR services to people with significant disabilities. The federal money generated through VRP3 must be spent in the jurisdictions of grant recipients. Federal funds generated from state dollars are used statewide. Participants must have RSC-approved individual employment plans, and the projects are reviewed annually.
VRP3 allows RSC to maintain services and keep needed federal dollars in Ohio while allowing local partners to expand services.
